Dr. Bronner’s has supported Weave the People Cooperative, and ongoingly supports the local WNC community, as well as many communities the world over.
Their support made many fundamental practical improvements to cooperative infrastucture during the tender initial two years possible, while also making it possible for us to put energy into our educational offerings, resources and community events.
Because of their support we were able to produce educational workshops, resources, mutual aid gatherings, as well as make quality of life an sustainability improvements to our community home and space.
They don’t just throw down where it counts, they are also a truly aligned organization. Despite not being a cooperative, as far as non-co-operative businesses go, they model a number of exceptionally progressive practices like:

- 100% free healthcare for employees and their families
- a 5-to-1 pay cap for the highest to lowest paid fully vested employee.
- Prioritizing developing and training current employees over highering from outside the org
- supporting the supply chain on the local level
- supporting the environment
- significant donations, as well as other forms of support, and disaster support through connected organizations like the Grassroots Aid Partnership
Check out the 2024 report for more insights into their practices.
